My work lies at the crossing of mysticism, fantasy, and the imagination. I love creating spooky, but adorable critters and magical worlds. My art is greatly inspired by nature, fairy tales, magic, and fantasy. It explores the lives of mermaids, unicorns, forest spirits, and creatures big and small. I create illustrations that incorporate floral and organic elements, occult imagery, the mystery of space, and I hope to inspire a sense of wonder. I love working with bright glowing color and with fine detailed linework. I draw with Copic markers or digitally in Procreate.
I am an illustrator and designer living in the San Francisco Bay Area with my boyfriend and cat. I’ve been drawing ever since I could hold a crayon, but I have always treated it as just a hobby. I studied Graphic and Web Design in the Hudson Valley of New York. It took me over a decade of doing branding work and designing websites to make the jump from world of code to art. After graduating from the Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC with a degree in Textile and Surface Design, I began focusing on illustration and textiles. I currently design prints and graphics for children's pajamas. My work has appeared on women’s apparel, kidswear, coloring books, book covers, concert posters, greeting cards, and more. I draw almost every single day. In my free time I participate in monthly drawing challenges and art trades (#atcitupwithfriends), weave on a floor loom, and I am learning pyrography.
