Mikaela Friedman is an artist based in Philadelphia, Pa. Mikaela creates colorful, surreal landscapes varying from safe haven's to toxic environments. In 2017, Mikaela spear headed art programs at SplashLab Arts Education. In her time at SplahLab she created accessible art programs, designed and painted community murals and taught art classes in schools where funding for the arts was cut. She is currently a Teaching Artist at the Philadelphia Museum of Art and still makes it her goal to provide accessible art to children and adults. Mikaela accepts commissions on a regular basis as well as teaches private classes from her studio in Philadelphia.
